Lễ phát động quyên góp ủng hộ đồng bào trong bão Yagi

Ngày 11/09/2024, hưởng ứng lời kêu gọi của Trung ương Mặt trận Tổ quốc Việt Nam và Phó Thủ tướng, Bộ trưởng Bộ Ngoại giao Bùi Thanh Sơn, Đại sứ quán Việt Nam tại Đức đã tổ chức lễ phát động quyên góp ủng hộ bà con bị ảnh hưởng trong siêu bão Yagi. Tham dự lễ phát động có đoàn công tác do đồng chí Nguyễn Xuân Thắng, Ủy viên Bộ Chính trị, Chủ tịch Hội đồng Lý luận Trung ương, Giám đốc Học viện Chính trị Quốc gia Hồ Chí Minh, làm Trưởng đoàn, đồng chí Nguyễn Minh Vũ, Ủy viên dự khuyết Trung ương Đảng, Thứ trưởng Thường trực Bộ Ngoại giao và đại diện các hội đoàn người Việt tại Đức.

 

Thay mặt Đại sứ quán, Đại sứ Vũ Quang Minh báo cáo đoàn công tác: Trong những ngày qua, cộng đồng người Việt tại Đức luôn quan tâm và theo dõi sát sao những diễn biến của siêu bão Yagi tại Việt Nam và mong muốn chia sẻ với những mất mát bà con trong nước. Với tinh thần tương thân, tương ái, Đại sứ quán đã phát động toàn thể cán bộ và nhân viên, bao gồm các bộ phận trực thuộc và bên cạnh Đại sứ quán (Đảng ủy ngoài nước, quân vụ, thương vụ, kế hoạch đầu tư, giáo dục, khoa học công nghệ, thông tấn xã Việt Nam) dành 03 ngày lương để ủng hộ đồng bào bão lụt. Tổng số quyên góp của cán bộ, nhân viên Đại sứ quán là 3.330 EURO. Nhân dịp đoàn công tác của đồng chí Nguyễn Xuân Thắng tới Berlin, Đại sứ quán đề nghị đoàn giúp chuyển quyên góp của Đại sứ quán và cộng đồng người Việt tại Đức tới bà con bị thiệt hại một cách nhanh nhất và trực tiếp nhất.

 

Tại lễ phát động, đai diện nhiều hội đoàn (Liên hiệp hội người Việt tại CHLB Đức, Liên hiệp hội phụ nữ Việt Nam tại CHLB Đức, Hội sinh viên Berlin-Potsdam…) và các cá nhân đã tích cực đóng góp ủng hộ các nạn nhân của bão Yagi. Tổng số tiền quyên góp chỉ trong chiều ngày 11/09/2024 đạt 17.280 EURO và 200 USD.

 

Phát biểu tại lễ phát động, đồng chí Nguyễn Xuân Thắng bày tỏ xúc động và cảm ơn cộng đồng người Việt tại Đức đã luôn hướng về quê hương, đất nước, sẵn sàng nhường cơm, sẻ áo với bà con trong nước. Đảng và Nhà nước đánh giá cao những đóng góp quý báu của cộng đồng người Việt ở nước ngoài, đặc biệt là cộng đồng người Việt tại Đức. Trong thời khắc đất nước gặp khó khăn, những đóng góp của cộng đồng người Việt tại Đức càng khẳng định và tô đậm truyền thống đùm bọc, sẻ chia, “lá lành đùm lá rách” của dân tộc Việt Nam.

 

Trong những ngày tới, cộng đồng người Việt tại Đức chắc chắn sẽ tiếp tục đóng góp, chia sẻ mất mát với bà con trong nước, có thể qua nhiều kênh khác nhau. Dù qua kênh nào, dù ít dù nhiều, đây là tấm lòng của cộng đồng người Việt tại Đức đối với quê hương, đất nước./.
