Vietnams Botschafter besucht Werder-Heimspiel Auftakt zu gemeinsamen Aktivitäten anlässlich 50 Jahren diplomatischer Beziehungen

Über 50 Jahre pflegen Deutschland und Vietnam diplomatische Beziehungen. Auch der SV Werder Bremen ist im südostasiatischen Land aktiv, setzt zahlreiche Projekte im Land um und besuchte Vietnam in den letzten Monaten mehrfach. Zuletzt im November vergangenen Jahres als die dritte Delegationsreise stattfand und die Grün-Weißen erneut als Botschafter der Bundesliga vor Ort waren.
Beim Heimspiel gegen die TSG Hoffenheim besuchten Vietnams Botschafter in Berlin, Vu Quang Minh, sowie Dang Hoang Linh, Konsul für Politik und Wirtschaft, die Grün-Weißen. Dabei tauschten sich unter anderem Klaus Filbry, Vorsitzender der Geschäftsführung beim SVW, mit den Gästen über die bisherige vertrauensvolle Zusammenarbeit und die zukünftigen Aktivitäten aus.
Der Besuch war Auftakt der Aktivitäten des SV Werder rund um das 50-jährige Jubiläum der diplomatischen Beziehungen. Weitere Maßnahmen, wie eine Fortsetzung des Football Development-Programms, mehrere Reisen ins Land, diverse Aktivitäten für die Community in Vietnam an Schulen und gemeinsam mit sozialen Trägern, folgen über das gesamte Jahr verteilt. Die Maßnahmen gipfeln in einer Delegationsreise der Stadt Bremen, die vermutlich im letzten Quartal des Jahres stattfinden wird und an der dann auch Werder teilnehmen würde.
Neben Klaus Filbry, Vorsitzender der Geschäftsführung, traf Botschafter Vu Quang Minh auch Werder-Kapitän Marco Friedl direkt am Spielertunnel sowie die grün-weißen Ikonen Tim Borowski und Ailton. Ganz nah dran am Geschehen im Weserstadion zog Vu Quang Minh ein positives Fazit seines Besuchs. “Ich möchte mich beim SV Werder stellvertretend für alle Vietnamesen und Vietnamesinnen für den Einsatz in Vietnam bedanken. Wir sind sehr dankbar, was der Verein für unsere Menschen leistet, und sehen das nicht als Selbstverständlichkeit an. Ich freue mich, wenn ich bei den zukünftigen Aktivitäten unterstützen kann.” Und weiter: “Der Ansatz, direkt in der Community zu wirken schafft bei den Menschen in Vietnam großes Vertrauen.”
Zum Abschluss sprach der Botschafter Klaus Filbry sowie Dominik Kupilas, Leiter Fan & Business Development und verantwortlich für die internationale Ausrichtung des SV Werder, eine Einladung zum Gegenbesuch in Berlin im März aus.
