Trong khuôn khổ chuyến thăm và làm việc tại Đức, chiều ngày 24 tháng 3 năm 2025 tại thành phố Frankfurt, Phó Thủ tướng Thường trực Chính phủ Việt Nam Nguyễn Hòa Bình đã chủ trì Toạ đàm về Phát triển Trung tâm tài chính tại Việt Nam.

 

Hướng tới kỷ niệm 50 năm thiết lập quan hệ ngoại giao Việt Nam – Đức, cuộc Toạ đàm do Bộ Tài chính phối hợp với Đại sứ quán, Tổng Lãnh sự quán Việt Nam và Hiệp hội Doanh nghiệp Đức Châu Á Thái Bình Dương (OAV) tổ chức thành công, đã thu hút được quan tâm của hơn 60 đại biểu quốc tế từ nhiều tổ chức, định chế tài chính lớn, các nhà đầu tư và chuyên gia tài chính của Đức và Châu Âu cùng với hơn 20 đại diện của Lãnh đạo cấp cao các Bộ ngành, 2 thành phố Hồ Chí Minh, Đà Nẵng, Ngân hàng nhà nước Việt Nam.

 

Việc xây dựng Trung tâm Tài chính là một trong những nội dung có ý nghĩa quan trọng, nhằm thúc đẩy quá trình chuyển đổi mạnh mẽ để trở thành một nền kinh tế năng động, thu hút dòng vốn đầu tư quốc tế và tham gia sâu hơn vào chuỗi giá trị tài chính toàn cầu, đưa Việt Nam thành mắt xích quan trọng của nền kinh tế thế giới.

 

Hiện nay, Chính phủ Việt Nam đang khẩn trương hoàn thiện khung khổ pháp lý về Trung tâm Tài chính với các chính sách đặc thù, vượt trội đồng thời bảo đảm tính minh bạch, an toàn và hiệu quả, hướng tới chuẩn mực và thông lệ quốc tế. Đồng thời, Việt Nam ưu tiên phát triển thị trường vốn, thúc đẩy các hoạt động tài chính xanh, tài chính số, phát triển fintech và tăng cường hợp tác quốc tế với các Trung tâm tài chính quốc tế.

 

Cũng tại buổi tọa đàm, các diễn giả Tiến sĩ Andreas Baumgartner, Tiến sĩ  Florian Strassberger, Tiến sĩ Michael Schleef đều đánh giá Việt Nam đã có những thành công hết sức ấn tượng trong phát triển nền kinh tế và quan hệ Việt Nam – Đức đang phát triển hết sức tốt đẹp, đặc biệt trong lĩnh vực kinh tế – thương mại. Các diễn giả đánh giá cao quyết định xây dựng trung tâm tài chính quốc tế của Việt Nam, ấn tượng với cách tiếp cận toàn diện và đổi mới của Việt Nam và cũng cho rằng việc đoàn công tác do Phó Thủ tướng Thường trực Chính phủ Nguyễn Hòa Bình dẫn đầu thăm London, Luxembourg và Frankfurt, ba trung tâm tài chính lớn của thế giới, là một lựa chọn sáng suốt, có thể giúp Việt Nam thu thập được nhiều thông tin và kinh nghiệm quý giá cho việc xây dựng trung tâm tài chính. Các diễn giả mong muốn tiếp tục được đóng góp, tham gia sâu hơn nữa vào xây dựng thị trường tài chính Việt Nam.
