Thăm hỏi, trao quà cho các phạm nhân người Việt trước thềm Tết Nguyên đán

Trong các ngày 10 và 17/12/2024, Đại sứ quán Việt Nam tại Đức đã tổ chức đi thăm và tặng quà Tết cho các phạm nhân người Việt đang thi hành án quanh khu vực Berlin. Theo thu xếp của chính quyền Berlin, đoàn đã vào thăm các trại giam Moabit, Pankow, Reinickendorf, Tegel và Plötzensee với tổng số 26 phạm nhân người Việt (trại Heidering có sự cố đột xuất nên từ chối toàn bộ khách thăm).

Tại các trại, đoàn đã trao tặng các món quà mang đậm hương vị Tết quê hương với các phạm nhân người Việt. Khẳng định Đại sứ quán luôn quan tâm duy trì hoạt động thăm hỏi các phạm nhân người Việt, đặc biệt là trong dịp Tết Nguyên đán, các thành viên trong đoàn đã cùng thăm hỏi về hoàn cảnh, điều kiện sinh hoạt và nguyện vọng của mỗi phạm nhân.

 

Bên cốc trà và cà phê Việt ấm nóng, các phạm nhân vừa trò chuyện vừa thưởng thức bánh chưng, giò chả được làm bởi chính cộng đồng người Việt tại Đức. Dù có nhiều tâm trạng khác nhau, các phạm nhân đều cho biết họ được đối xử đúng mực, được tạo điều kiện cho học nghề, làm việc có thu nhập hay được học tiếng Đức. Tại trại giam mở Reinickendorf, phạm nhân còn được phép đi làm hàng ngày ở bên ngoài, chỉ phải về trại vào buổi tối. Các phạm nhân đều mong muốn sớm kết thúc thời gian thi hành án để trở về với gia đình.

 

Đoàn đã động viên các phạm nhân chấp hành tốt nội quy của trại, cố gắng giữ tinh thần và sức khỏe tốt trong thời gian thi hành án. Các món quà của đoàn tuy nhỏ nhưng đều gửi gắm tình cảm của quê hương. Các phạm nhân đều bày tỏ xúc động khi được Đại sứ quán đến thăm và tặng quà trước thềm năm mới, nhất là các phạm nhân không có gia đình tại Đức.

Đây là hoạt động thường niên của Đại sứ quán Việt Nam tại Đức. Trong năm 2024, Đại sứ quán cũng đã vận động cộng đồng ủng hộ hơn 300 đầu sách, tạp chí tiếng Việt cho các phạm nhân Việt Nam khu vực Berlin. Chính quyền Berlin cũng đã xem xét một số đề nghị của Đại sứ quán để cải thiện điều kiện sinh hoạt cho các phạm nhân người Việt./.
