Ngày 27/8, tại Cung điện Bellevue – Phủ Tổng thống Đức tại Thủ đô Berlin, Đại sứ Đặc mệnh toàn quyền nước CHXHCN Việt Nam tại CHLB Đức, Nguyễn Đắc Thành, đã trình Thư ủy nhiệm của Chủ tịch nước CHXHCN Việt Nam Lương Cường tới Tổng thống Liên bang Đức Frank-Walter Steinmeier.
Lễ trình Thư uỷ nhiệm diễn ra với nghi thức lễ tân truyền thống trang nghiêm, trọng thị, sau khi Đại sứ Nguyễn Đắc Thành và Phu nhân Trương Thu Hương tới Đức chưa đầy 1 tháng.
Theo phóng viên TTXVN tại Đức, tại buổi tiếp sau lễ trình Thư ủy nhiệm, Tổng thống Steinmeier chúc mừng Đại sứ Nguyễn Đắc Thành được bổ nhiệm làm Đại sứ Đặc mệnh toàn quyền Việt Nam tại Đức. Tổng thống trân trọng cảm ơn lời thăm hỏi và lời chúc tốt đẹp của Tổng Bí thư Tô Lâm, Chủ tịch nước Lương Cường, và lãnh đạo Chính phủ, Quốc hội Việt Nam tới Ngài và Phu nhân. Ông cũng gửi lời chúc mừng nồng nhiệt nhất tới Lãnh đạo Đảng, Nhà nước và nhân dân Việt Nam nhân dịp kỷ niệm 80 năm Quốc khánh Việt Nam.
Đại sứ Nguyễn Đắc Thành cũng trân trọng nhờ Ngài Tổng thống chuyển lời chúc mừng của Thủ tướng Phạm Minh Chính đến Thủ tướng Liên bang Đức Friedrich Merz về những thành công bước đầu mà chính phủ liên minh của ông đã đạt được sau 100 ngày đầu tiên nắm quyền điều hành đất nước.
Tổng thống Steinmeier khẳng định ấn tượng hết sức tốt đẹp về sự đón tiếp chu đáo, thân tình của Lãnh đạo Đảng, Chính phủ Việt Nam trong chuyến thăm chính thức Việt Nam của ông vào tháng 1/2024. Ông cũng bày tỏ vui mừng trước những kết quả hợp tác tốt đẹp giữa hai nước trong các lĩnh vực kinh tế, thương mại, đầu tư, quốc phòng, giáo dục, y tế, chăm sóc sức khoẻ và hợp tác lao động.
Nhân dịp này, Đại sứ Nguyễn Đắc Thành gửi lời cảm ơn chân thành tới Chính phủ, nhân dân Đức và đặc biệt là Bộ Ngoại giao Đức đã hỗ trợ hiệu quả các hoạt động của Đại sứ quán Việt Nam tại Berlin cũng như cộng đồng người Việt Nam đang sinh sống, làm việc và học tập tại Đức. Ông cũng mong Ngài Tổng thống quan tâm, hỗ trợ và tạo điều kiện thuận lợi cho cộng đồng người Việt tiếp tục hội nhập sâu rộng, thành công và đóng góp tích cực vào xã hội Đức, trở thành cầu nối quan trọng giữa hai nước. Đại sứ cũng cho biết dự kiến Lễ hội Đức (Deustchlandfest) sẽ được tổ chức tại khu vực Hồ Gươm, trung tâm Thủ đô Hà Nội vào tháng 10 tới và Việt Nam hoan nghênh các chuyến thăm của lãnh đạo Chính phủ, Bộ Ngoại giao cùng các địa phương của Đức sang Việt Nam.
Tổng thống Steinmeier nhất trí hai bên tiếp tục trao đổi đoàn cấp cao, mà trước mắt là đoàn quan chức cấp cao của Chính phủ Liên bang và các chính quyền địa phương sang Việt Nam dự các hoạt động kỷ niệm 50 năm thiết lập quan hệ ngoại giao hai nước. Ông cũng đề nghị hai bên tiếp tục phối hợp chặt chẽ để triển khai kế hoạch trao đổi đoàn cấp cao đã được nhất trí trong năm 2025.
Đại sứ Nguyễn Đắc Thành một lần nữa khẳng định Việt Nam hết sức coi trọng quan hệ với CHLB Đức và cá nhân Đại sứ sẽ nỗ lực vun đắp tình hữu nghị giữa chính phủ và nhân dân hai nước trong nhiệm kỳ của mình.
Bên cạnh đó, Đại sứ cho biết Việt Nam cũng rất coi trọng quan hệ Đối tác và Hợp tác Toàn diện với Liên minh châu Âu (EU). Với vai trò là trung tâm kinh tế và chính trị của EU, đồng thời dẫn dắt trong việc định hình chính sách và thúc đẩy hợp tác khu vực, Đại sứ đề nghị phía Đức tiếp tục quan tâm, sớm thông qua các quy trình, thủ tục, hoàn tất quá trình phê chuẩn Hiệp định Bảo hộ Đầu tư Việt Nam – EU (EVIPA) để tạo động lực mới cho hợp tác thương mại – đầu tư song phương; Có tiếng nói thúc đẩy Ủy ban châu Âu (EC) sớm gỡ bỏ “thẻ vàng” IUU đối với thủy sản Việt Nam.
Đại sứ cũng bày tỏ hy vọng hai nước tiếp tục triển khai hiệu quả Hiệp định Thương mại Tự do Việt Nam – EU (EVFTA), tạo điều kiện thuận lợi cho hàng hóa Việt Nam, nhất là nông sản, vào thị trường Đức; Tăng cường phối hợp và ủng hộ lẫn nhau trong các diễn đàn quốc tế, như Liên hợp quốc, ASEAN – EU.
