Ủng hộ sách báo tiếng Việt cho phạm nhân người Việt tại Berlin

Ngày 16/09/2024, Đại sứ quán Việt Nam tại Đức đã chuyển giao các thùng sách báo tiếng Việt cho chính quyền Berlin để thành lập tủ sách tiếng Việt tại các cơ sở giam giữ có người Việt đang thi hành án. Hơn 300 đầu sách và tạp chí tiếng Việt được chuyển giao là thành quả vận động, quyên góp tích cực của các hội đoàn người Việt tại Berlin thời gian qua.

 

Trong các chuyến thăm phạm nhân người Việt tại Berlin, Đại sứ quán đã luôn tìm hiểu tâm tư, nguyện vọng, điều kiện sinh hoạt, giam giữ của các phạm nhân để có biện pháp hỗ trợ phù hợp. Tuy các nhu cầu sinh hoạt cơ bản được bảo đảm nhưng nhiều phạm nhân cho biết họ rất thiếu thốn về mặt tinh thần, do các cơ sở giam giữ hầu như không có sách báo tiếng Việt, trong khi vốn tiếng Đức của nhiều người còn hạn chế. Thấu hiểu nguyện vọng chính đáng này, bên cạnh việc đề nghị chính quyền Berlin bổ sung chương trình truyền hình tiếng Việt tại các cơ sở giam giữ, Đại sứ quán đã tổ chức vận động và được các hội đoàn người Việt nhiệt tình ủng hộ khá nhiều sách báo tiếng Việt cho các phạm nhân.

 

Đây là món quà mang nặng tình cảm của cộng đồng người Việt gửi tặng các các phạm nhân, động viên họ chấp hành tốt thời hạn giam giữ và nhanh chóng trở về bên người thân, gia đình. Dù trong điều kiện, hoàn cảnh nào, cộng đồng cũng sẽ luôn quan tâm giúp đỡ những đứa con của mình./.
